The Balochistan Commission on the Status of Women (BCSW) is a dedicated statutory body established to promote and protect the rights of women in the province of Balochistan. As an autonomous entity, we work tirelessly to address the social, economic, political, and legal challenges faced by women, ensuring their empowerment, equality, and protection in all spheres of life.
The BCSW serves as a key advocate for gender justice, focusing on policy advocacy, legislative reforms, and the implementation of women-friendly laws. We monitor and evaluate the province’s progress in advancing women’s rights, collaborating closely with government bodies, civil society organizations, and local communities to drive positive change.
Our work spans critical areas such as combatting gender-based violence, providing legal support, promoting economic empowerment, and ensuring access to education and healthcare for women. Through our initiatives, we aim to build a society where women are empowered, their contributions are recognized, and their rights are upheld with dignity and respect.
